In order to keep our operating cost and your prices as low as possible and ensure we can meet your service expectations; the following terms and conditions are necessary. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation.
Business hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM
Beverage only orders need to be placed by 12 noon the proceeding day. Orders placed after 12 noon are at the discretion of the Catering Service Department Manager.
Food or food & beverage combination orders needs to be placed by 12 noon, 2 business days prior to event date. For large events, please provide as much notice as possible to allow for staffing and menu accommodations.
Our minimum order requirement for EDC and Stevenson campus is $25 before taxes. When minimum order requirements are not met, additional server/cook labor charge applies.
Cancellation of an event must be provided in written format via email 24 business hours notice in advance to avoid being charge for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the event.
Additional staffing for set up, clean up and/or servicing will be charged at a minimum of 3 hours per server; additional staffing charge applied for venue that does not have elevator or ramp access. After hours events (evening/weekends) will have “staff/cook” labor charge applied.
All catering events will be supplied with linen for the food and beverage table(s), biodegradable or recyclable plates, cutlery, cups, napkins, and serving utensils at no additional charges. Premium services available upon request at additional $5/person for full line of service wares (ideal for lunch/dinner buffet) or $2.50/person for reception event.
Upon clean up, any lost/missing/damaged items/equipment will be charged back to the catering event host/department at market cost.
External clients are subject to minimum of $50 per delivery for all catering orders going to EDC, Stevenson Campus, or any offsite locations.
External clients are subject to 18% gratuity/admin fee.
Due to Health & Safety Regulations, all remaining food belongs to Marek Hospitality for safe disposal.
